CivilEdge Celebrates Multiple Nominations at the 2024 TMAA Excellence Awards

The Traffic Management Association of Australia (TMAA) Excellence Awards celebrate the exceptional efforts of individuals and organisations within the Traffic Management industry. These awards highlight achievements, innovation, and excellence in temporary traffic management projects, initiatives, and the people driving them. This year, CivilEdge is proud to receive three nominations across two of the RTO training categories.

Shawn Heathcote is a standout finalist for the Traffic Management Trainer of the Year award, with over 16 years of hands-on experience in traffic management and a passion for safety and education. Since obtaining his training qualifications in 2022, Shawn has delivered impactful training across multiple states, incorporating real-life scenarios to make learning practical and engaging. Known for his innovative methods, such as fostering open discussions and using relatable anecdotes, Shawn creates a dynamic and interactive learning environment. His commitment to continuous improvement and proactive mentorship leaves a lasting impact on trainees and the broader traffic management workforce.

Darryl Campbell is also a deserving finalist for the Traffic Management Trainer of the Year award, with extensive expertise in civil construction, traffic management, and safety. Since obtaining his credentials in 2012, Darryl has been committed to upskilling professionals through engaging and impactful training sessions. Joining CivilEdge in early 2024, Darryl has delivered a range of TTMNF skillsets across Tasmania, employing innovative methods that connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. His ability to personalise learning, foster interactive discussions, and provide hands-on support ensures trainees leave with a thorough understanding of safety protocols and practical skills. Darryl’s dedication to continuous improvement and creating a safer industry workforce cements his place as an outstanding trainer.
